A children's charity in Wishaw has received a generous donation from members of a church craft group. St Margaret's Church Craft Group held a charity coffee morning to raise funds for local causes, with Les Hoey's DreamMaker Foundation among the beneficiaries.
DreamMaker co-ordinator Angela Cook visited the group to express her gratitude. She said: 'This fantastic group of ladies meets every Tuesday from 10am until noon, and it was wonderful to spend time with them. The group organised a coffee morning, splitting the proceeds between two charities. I accepted £325 for our DreamMakers and enjoyed seeing their crafts, chatting, and sharing tea and cake. Thank you for your hospitality; your home baking is superb. For a small charity like ours, local support means everything.'
