Ramsey was confirmed as Oxford boss earlier this week, ending his playing career after previously taking charge of Cardiff on an interim basis at the end of the 2024/25 season. Wintle, 29, joined Cardiff from Crewe in the summer of 2021 and made 163 appearances across five seasons. Despite making 40 league appearances in that campaign, he was released when Cardiff confirmed their retained list at the end of last season.
