Jose Mourinho is reportedly keen to reunite with former Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay at Real Madrid. The Scottish international, now at Napoli, has impressed since his move to Serie A, winning the league title and earning a Ballon d'Or nomination.
According to Italian outlet Tuttomercatoweb, Real Madrid have expressed interest in the 29-year-old, but Napoli have no intention of selling and have placed an €80 million (£69 million) price tag on him. McTominay's contract with Napoli runs until 2028, though extension talks have stalled.
Manchester United sold McTominay for up to £30 million in 2024 and would benefit from a 10 per cent sell-on clause if he moves to Madrid. The midfielder has been criticised for his performances at the 2026 World Cup, where Scotland face an uphill battle to reach the knockout stages.
