Liverpool are navigating a pivotal summer transfer window under new manager Andoni Iraola, who took over after the Reds finished fifth in the Premier League last season. The club has already secured its first signing, winger Victor Munoz from Osasuna, but attention remains on reinforcing the wide attacking options as the post-Mohamed Salah era approaches.
Bradley Barcola: PSG's Stance Clear
Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola has been heavily linked with a move to Anfield, but the French club has made it clear he is not for sale. According to The Athletic, PSG do not need to offload the 23-year-old, who scored 13 goals and provided seven assists last season while helping the club win Ligue 1 and the Champions League.
Barcola is reportedly reluctant to sign a new contract, with two years remaining on his current deal, due to concerns over playing time. PSG value him at more than £116m, the fee Manchester City agreed to pay for Nottingham Forest's Elliot Anderson. Barcola joined PSG from Lyon in 2023.
Yan Diomande 'Expects to Leave' RB Leipzig
RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande, valued at £112m, has admitted he expects to depart the German club this summer. The 19-year-old, who scored 13 goals and assisted 10 in 36 appearances last season, reportedly favours a move to PSG over Liverpool.
Speaking ahead of Ivory Coast's World Cup round of 32 match against Norway, Diomande said: "First of all, like I said, my dream is playing for my country and making history with my country. I don't have Instagram anymore, I don't have TikTok, so I can't see anything but I expect to leave [RB Leipzig] of course. I have an agent who's going to manage the rest, but for me the most important thing right now is focusing on the World Cup with my country and making history with them."
Liverpool reportedly saw an £86.7m bid for Diomande rejected earlier this month, with Leipzig holding out for a fee closer to £112m.
