The Reds have already seen club stalwart Andy Robertson depart for Tottenham on a free transfer, while Mohamed Salah terminated his contract a year early to seek new opportunities. Ibrahima Konate has also been heavily linked with a free transfer to Real Madrid after failing to agree a new deal.
Confirmed Departures
The list of confirmed exits includes academy players Kareem Ahmed, Emmanuel Airoboma, James Balagizi, DJ Bernard, Oakley Cannonier, Josh Davidson, Terence Miles, and Jacob Poytress. In an official statement, Liverpool thanked each player for their contributions and wished them well for the future.
Potential Further Exits
Andoni Iraola, who took over after Arne Slot's sacking, may also offload Curtis Jones and Federico Chiesa as he stamps his authority on the team. Jones has attracted interest from Inter Milan, with the Serie A side reportedly planning to sell Davide Frattesi to Nottingham Forest to fund a move. Liverpool value Jones at around £35 million but might accept £25 million.
Federico Chiesa has stated he will leave if not guaranteed consistent first-team minutes. Speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport, he said: "I want to play. If I don't find consistency in the Premier League, I'll have to look elsewhere. I'm open to anything; the important thing is to play." Chiesa has also expressed a desire to return to Juventus, though he noted that the club never offered him a renewal.
Chiesa confirmed that Jones has asked him about life in Italy, adding: "I told him it's great and the weather is better than Liverpool. Jones is really strong technically; Inter are right to think about him."
