RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande, a reported Liverpool target, has publicly stated that he expects to leave the Bundesliga club this summer. Speaking ahead of Ivory Coast's World Cup round of 32 match against Norway, Diomande said: "First of all, like I said, my dream is playing for my country and making history with my country. I have an agent who's going to manage the rest, but for me the most important thing right now is focusing on the World Cup with my country and making history with them."
Diomande joined Leipzig from Leganes last summer and had a remarkable season, scoring 13 goals and providing 10 assists in 36 appearances. Liverpool had expressed willingness to pay £86 million for the winger, but Leipzig are holding out for closer to £112 million.
