The Red Devils kick off pre-season with a friendly against Wrexham on Saturday, following a season that saw them secure Champions League qualification.
Transfer Activity and Squad Depth
United have already completed the signings of Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans, with more arrivals anticipated. Last term, the team was eliminated early from both domestic cup competitions and had no European fixtures, but with Champions League football returning, Wilcox emphasized the need for improved depth. He stated, "Michael has done an excellent job and thoroughly earned the opportunity to continue as head coach of our men's team. The results speak for themselves, with United picking up the highest points tally in the Premier League since he returned to the club."
