Track Brewing Co's Brewery & Taproom, nestled on the Piccadilly Trading Estate just minutes from Manchester Piccadilly Railway Station, offers a hidden suntrap beer garden with 20 keg lines and 3 cask lines. The venue, part of Manchester's "Beermuda Triangle" cluster of independent breweries, provides a quiet alternative to crowded city-centre spots.
Location and Atmosphere
The taproom is located on the Piccadilly East and Sheffield Street area, near Piccadilly Station, and is celebrated among craft beer enthusiasts for its brewing talent and quality taprooms. In 2021, Track Brewing Co took over a 10,000 sq ft industrial unit on the estate, transforming it into a modern and bright space with the help of On The Brink Studios, MikeSian Studio, and designer AH Creative.
Beer and Food Offerings
Visitors can enjoy a range of hazy hop-forward Pales, IPAs, DIPAs, Imperial Stouts, sours, and more, all served fresh. The taproom also stocks a variety of wines, spirits, and soft drinks. Food is provided by Slice Culture Pizza, offering pizza slices to accompany the drinks. Beer lovers can also order fresh beer from the cold-room to take home.
Capacity and Outdoor Space
The taproom seats 80 customers indoors, with an overall capacity of 120. The main attraction is the suntrap beer garden, where patrons can soak up the rays or enjoy shade while sipping a pint and indulging in pizza. According to owner Sam Dyson, the brewery was founded in 2008 after he was inspired by taprooms in the U.S. during a cycling trip around the world.
