Clarkson's Farm Feeds Alpine F1 at British Grand Prix

Jeremy Clarkson's Diddly Squat Farm has partnered with the Alpine F1 team to provide food and drink for staff and drivers at this weekend's British Grand Prix. The farm, located just six miles from Alpine's base in Enstone, Oxfordshire, is supplying local produce to the team at Silverstone.

Partnership Details

The collaboration sees Diddly Squat Farm provide food, drink, and condiments to Alpine, including drivers Pierre Gasly and Franco Colapinto. This extends a relationship that began when Clarkson supplied Hawkstone beer to celebrate podiums at Monaco in 2023 and Sao Paulo in 2024.

"We are delighted to rely on Diddly Squat Farm to supply us with local farm food this weekend at Silverstone," said Alpine managing director Steve Nielsen. "As a team, we have enjoyed an excellent relationship with Jeremy Clarkson who has been very supportive of us for several years. It's great that we are able to help promote British farming and highlight the importance of farming to the local area."

Local Sourcing and Support

Nielsen added: "Our base at Enstone is surrounded by farms so we are well aware and full of admiration for what farmers do in bringing food to our tables. It's a special occasion to bring local food to Silverstone to keep our team and drivers well fed this weekend so thanks to Jeremy and the team at Diddly Squat Farm for their on-going support."

Lisa Hogan, Clarkson's partner and co-founder of Diddly Squat Farm, said: "It is with great pleasure to team up with our local Formula 1 team at Silverstone this weekend. The British Grand Prix is one of the highlights on the British sporting calendar so to have Diddly Squat Farm Shop associated, and to play a small role, with the team this weekend is certainly quite special. We hope the team and its drivers enjoy some of our local produce and wish them a successful weekend on track."

Clarkson's F1 Sponsorship Tease

The partnership follows Clarkson's recent social media posts expressing interest in sponsoring an F1 team with his Hawkstone beer brand. After Lewis Hamilton, Lando Norris, and George Russell stood on the podium in Barcelona last month, he posted: "Great to see three Brits on the podium in Barcelona. Just a shame the winner was sponsored by an Italian beer." This referenced Ferrari's partnership with Peroni.

Clarkson added: "One day, I hope Hawkstone is big enough to sponsor an F1 team. But which one?" Many fans pointed to Alpine due to the geographical proximity to Clarkson's farm. However, full sponsorship may require Hawkstone to introduce a non-alcoholic range, as F1 races in countries where alcohol advertising is banned. Companies like Peroni and Heineken circumvent this with non-alcoholic options.
