To help you save money this summer when attending a concert in the city centre, many much-loved spots have announced a variety of deals. FOR Cardiff has shared some of the spots where you can save on food and drinks this summer season; here is a full list.
Wahaca
Concertgoers can redeem a free margarita at the Mexican restaurant with a same-day gig ticket. These cocktails normally cost £9.75, offering significant savings. Although there are no food discounts, the venue recommends trying tacos to line your stomach before the event.
Bonnie Rogues
The popular bar on St Mary Street is offering multiple deals this summer gig season. This includes 20% off food on gig days, as well as 50% off happy hour from Sunday to Friday. On Sunday to Friday gig days, customers can get a round of drinks for half price.
Brewhouse
Brewhouse is offering more than one deal for those attending gigs this summer. They have a deal on 20% off food and also two for £12 cocktails for those with concert tickets. This is a great way to save money before your event and avoid expensive venue prices.
Roxy Lanes
Looking for entertainment before heading to your gig? Head to Roxy Lanes, where you can eat, drink and play fun games to kill time before the concert. The popular games bar is offering those with same-day gig tickets a range of drinks for just £5. Additionally, they have a deal of two frozen cocktails for £15, including Piña Colada, Miami Vice or a classic Strawberry Daiquiri—a great way to cool down before these warm summer events.
Barbara's Bier Haus
The German-themed bar is offering a happy hour from 4pm to 8pm every day. They describe the spot as your "new après escape" in Cardiff, offering cocktails, steins and food for those feeling peckish.
The Piano Works
Known for live music, The Piano Works will showcase different performers every day this summer. They are offering 50% off food from Tuesday to Thursday, allowing you to continue enjoying music into the night after the gig.
