Barclays is adjusting its quiet hour to 9:30-10:30am from July 7, 2025, in all branches, according to a poster displayed at the Redhill branch in Surrey on June 25. The sign read: "From 7 July quiet hour will be from 9.30am to 10.30am."
All Branches Affected
The notice clarified that this is a company-wide policy, stating: "All our branches now have quiet hour on the days they're open to give everybody a chance to bank comfortably." Customers are encouraged to approach staff with any questions: "Ask us about it - we're here to help."
Barclays introduced quiet hours to support customers who may benefit from reduced background noise, including those with neurodiverse conditions. The bank's website confirms: "All our branches have a quiet hour between 9:30am and 10:30am on the days they're open. Some of our locations also have private meeting rooms and accessible quiet areas so you can bank comfortably."
