Arsenal Greenlit for Double Swoop: Rogers and Kroupi

Arsenal legend Ray Parlour has urged his former club to target Morgan Rogers and Eli Junior Kroupi in the upcoming summer transfer window. Both players are attracting interest from the Premier League champions as Mikel Arteta looks to strengthen his squad.

Rogers and Kroupi in the Spotlight

Kroupi played a significant role in Arsenal ending their 22-year wait for a Premier League title, scoring in a 1-1 draw against Manchester City. He netted 13 goals in an impressive first season in English football. Rogers, meanwhile, helped Aston Villa win the Europa League and secure a top-four league finish, earning a spot in England's World Cup squad.

Parlour's Endorsement

Speaking to Mirror Football, Parlour said: "I think Rogers is a fantastic player. He can play off the left-hand side as well. I think we need someone off the left. I don't know what will happen with Trossard or Martinelli, but Rogers can play in the No. 10 role too, which he's done very well at Aston Villa. I'm interested to see where Rogers plays for England at the World Cup."

He added: "Kroupi's a very good, talented player. He's young, and Mikel Arteta can make young players even better, so that would be a good signing."

Transfer Hurdles

Reports suggest Rogers would choose Arsenal if he leaves Aston Villa this summer, amid links to Manchester United and Bayern Munich. However, Arsenal are reportedly unwilling to meet the £100 million asking price. A similar fee is needed for Kroupi, with Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool also interested. Bournemouth are demanding around £86 million, according to Foot Mercato, while The i Paper reports a price tag of over £100 million.

It remains unclear if Arsenal will spend over £200 million on two players, especially with a central midfield signing being a priority for Arteta.
