Arsenal Make Morgan Rogers Top Transfer Priority with First Bid Expected

Arsenal have identified Aston Villa's Morgan Rogers as their primary transfer target for the summer window and are preparing an initial bid. The Gunners view the 23-year-old as a versatile No.10 capable of also playing on the left wing, and they are expected to test Villa's resolve with a formal approach.

Rogers is reportedly keen on a move to north London, and personal terms are not expected to be an obstacle. However, Aston Villa consider the England international a key player and prefer him to remain for their Champions League campaign next season. Rogers was named Europa League player of the tournament after Villa beat Freiburg in the final to secure their return to Europe's top competition.

Arsenal are also in talks with Leicester City over a deal for 16-year-old winger Jeremy Monga, with a fee of around £10 million expected. If an agreement is not reached, the matter could go to a tribunal. Additionally, the club is monitoring Lille midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi, who has impressed for Morocco at the World Cup, though Lille would demand at least £60 million for the 18-year-old.

In other transfer news, Arsenal remain interested in Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez, who has publicly stated his desire to leave for Barcelona. However, Atletico are reluctant to sell to a Spanish rival and would require his €500 million release clause to be triggered. Arsenal considered Alvarez last summer before signing Viktor Gyokeres, and they could revive their interest if Barcelona's pursuit falters.
