Console features and specs
The 4K HDMI Retro Game Console with 40,000+ Games provides a 'plug-and-play' TV games console with over 40,000 classic games built into it. This includes a wide variety of retro games, with the added benefit of not needing to carry out any additional downloads.
The console also includes two wireless controllers that come equipped with 360-degree joysticks and 'sensitive' trigger buttons. This allows players to take part in games with their friends, which is also aided by the simple setup of the device that only requires the power and HDMI to be connected to the TV in order to start playing.
The console is made by Oberobiz and helps to deliver many of the games through the use of emulators. According to the seller, the console itself supports over 20 emulators.
Alternative options and how to get the deal
If you would prefer a larger name-brand console, you can currently get your hands on a Nintendo Switch 2 console at a discount, dropping from £419.99 to £380 on Amazon. Nintendo's latest console provides compatibility for all the brand's latest games and can be used as a handheld or connected to the TV.
Or, if you want something more targeted for children, you could opt for the Nex Playground, which is currently available on Amazon for £269.99. This console uses a video camera to help children stay active while engaging in a wide variety of licensed games from various beloved children's franchises.
Currently, there are no reviews available for the Oberobiz 4K HDMI Retro Game Console, however, customers should note that it has a focus on more classic games. Therefore, if you would rather play more modern titles, you may want to look at something a little different. Furthermore, while the console includes two controllers, they miss out on features available from some other manufacturers. For example, the controllers will not have the same haptic feedback that is offered by the likes of Sony.
