UK to Be Hotter Than Greece Next Week with 20C Temperatures

The UK is set to enjoy warmer weather next week, with temperatures expected to reach 20C in some regions, surpassing those in Greece and Turkey, according to WXCharts weather maps using MetDesk data.

On Tuesday, April 7, parts of southern England are forecast to hit highs of 20C, while much of Turkey will only reach 14C and some areas in Greece will see highs of 17C. London and surrounding areas are expected to peak around 6pm.

Eleven UK regions will be warmer than Greece, with the East Midlands and parts of the South West reaching at least 15C. Even northern areas like Manchester and South Yorkshire will see temperatures higher than those in Turkey.

The warm spell is expected to continue, with highs of 22C forecast on April 9 in the Southeast and East of England. The Met Office predicts temperatures above average, with a northwest-southeast split: more unsettled weather in the northwest, but drier and settled conditions in the southeast.
