Homes Without Water on Hottest Day in Wales

Residents in Treforest, Wales, have been left without water on what is forecast to be the hottest day of the year, after a pump failure disrupted supplies. Welsh Water has apologized for the inconvenience and stated that all supplies should be fully restored by late morning.

Pump Failure Affects Treforest

The Welsh Water website reports that a pump failure is affecting water supplies in the Treforest area. "We are aware that customers in this area may have no water or low pressure," the website states. "We expect all supplies to be fully restored by late morning. We apologise for any inconvenience caused."

A Treforest resident took to Facebook to express frustration, saying: "I’ve woken up to dirty water from both my hot and cold tap, obviously from all taps in the house... Not ideal with today’s weather."
