Two firefighting helicopters collided on Sunday while tackling wildfires currently raging in Greece, west of Athens.
A search and rescue operation has been launched in the Psatha area, according to Greece's fire department.
Crew of four involved
The helicopters involved had taken off from Elefsina military airport and were carrying a crew of two people each, the Greek fire service said in a statement. This means a total of four crew members were on board.
