Players on Steam forums have expressed frustration, but some argue there is no shortage. One user advised: 'Get in your Ship and go sailing. Pick up all the little beams of light you see and sink those Pirates. You will have THOUSANDS of Wood in just a few hours.'
The starting island has plenty of trees for early game needs, and players can find additional wood by exploring and looting while sailing. It remains unclear if developer Kraken Express plans to change tree respawning in future updates.
