EA FC 26 has announced a groundbreaking crossover with Fantasy Premier League (FPL) for its latest Ultimate Team promotion. The new Fantasy FC Live event, a mini-promo within the ongoing Fantasy FC campaign, will celebrate top FPL scorers from a single matchweek.
During FPL Matchweek 29, which runs from Tuesday, March 3 to Thursday, March 5, ten players will be highlighted in Ultimate Team—one for each midweek fixture. These special cards, starting at either 85 or 87 overall ratings according to leakers, include Liverpool's Milos Kerkez, Manchester United's Amad Diallo, and Arsenal's Leandro Trossard.
To obtain these items, players must participate in a Fantasy FC Flash Rush Event starting Saturday, February 28. They can earn up to two cards by using a player from the corresponding card's men's team before March 3. For instance, to unlock Mathys Tel of Tottenham Hotspur, any Spurs men's player must be used.
The Fantasy FC Live cards will be upgraded based on the real-life FPL points earned by the player during Matchweek 29. Upgrades range from a minimum boost for 0-1 points up to a potential +5 overall rating increase for high scorers. The exact upgrade thresholds are detailed on the Fantasy Premier League website.
