Sky Mobile is offering a free Samsung tech bundle worth up to £598 with five Galaxy S26 and foldable smartphones, as part of a promotion targeting shoppers considering Apple's iPhone 18 Pro.
Customers who sign up for a monthly contract with one of five Samsung Galaxy phones will receive a free set of Galaxy Buds4 Pro and a Galaxy Watch9. The freebies are included with the S26+ and Z Flip 8, both priced at £38 per month, with orders placed by October 14 receiving the Buds4 Pro and Galaxy Watch9 40mm, worth a combined £568. The S26 Ultra (£45), Z Fold 8 (£46) and Z Fold 8 Ultra (£51) come with the Buds4 Pro and the larger Galaxy Watch9 44mm, valued at £598.
Contract terms and conditions
The complimentary bundle will be sent with the phone or within 30 days of purchase, though it may not appear at checkout. Shoppers must commit to a monthly Sky contract ranging from 24 to 48 months, with a £12 upfront cost and a 100MB data allowance, meaning most users will need to purchase a larger data bundle at extra cost. Sky states its prices 'may change' during the contract term.
Alternative deals from rival retailers
Sky is not the only retailer offering freebies. Mobiles.co.uk customers can claim £400 cashback with a rival Z Fold 8 Ultra deal, priced at £44.99 per month on iD Mobile's 100GB tariff with £519 upfront. After purchase, shoppers can claim the cashback in the form of a Virtual Mastercard Prepaid Card for use in Samsung Wallet. Amazon customers purchasing the budget-friendly A37 or A57 can claim a free Galaxy Tab A11 worth up to £169.
Galaxy S26 Ultra praised for 'magic' feature
Among the handsets featured in the Sky Mobile deal, the Galaxy S26 Ultra has drawn praise for its new privacy display. In a review, Daniel Smith said: "The new feature - privacy display - is brilliant and works just like magic. It limits viewing angles to protect your screen in public, so super-useful if you're on trains, planes, etc." He added: "The magic bit about it is that you can just hide your notifications rather than the whole screen. It's a big selling point and works fantastically."
Smith also highlighted a 'faster' and 'stronger' chip, saying: "Samsung has pushed performance further with a new custom chip that is faster, better, and stronger than its predecessor. This means the Ultra remains one of the fastest Android phones you can buy, with smooth multitasking and excellent gaming performance, while the AI features feel more integrated across the system this time around." He noted battery life benefits from the more efficient chip, allowing well over a day of use under normal conditions.
However, Smith noted the S26 Ultra is 'not a massive leap' from the previous model, adding: "If you have a device that's a year or two old, I'd pass. It's not a massive leap from the S25 Ultra. But if you want to upgrade an older phone - or really want the privacy display - you won't be disappointed."
