British heavyweight Moses Itauma faces Filip Hrgovic for the vacant IBF world title at London's O2 Arena on Saturday, August 29. The fight will be broadcast live and exclusively on DAZN, with fans able to order the pay-per-view for £24.99 or watch it at no extra cost with a DAZN Ultimate subscription.
Itauma enters the bout undefeated with a record of 14-0 (12 KOs), while his Croatian opponent holds a record of 20-1 (15 KOs). Hrgovic, 34, was previously named world number one by the IBF and suffered his only career loss to Daniel Dubois in 2024.
A shot at heavyweight history
A win would see 21-year-old Itauma become Britain's youngest-ever heavyweight champion and the youngest worldwide since Mike Tyson. Despite the historic stakes, Itauma has said his focus remains squarely on the man across the ring.
“It's good, but ultimately it's not what I'm focusing on,” he told DAZN. “I'm focusing on Hrgovic and then the title comes. You don't focus on the world title or the success. You focus on the path that's going to get you there – beating Hrgovic is going to get me there.”
How to watch and fight card details
Live coverage of the main fight card is due to start at 7pm, with ringwalks for Itauma and Hrgovic expected at 10.30pm. The PPV is also included with a DAZN Ultimate subscription, which provides access to a minimum of 12 PPVs each year, including Ryan Garcia vs Conor Benn on September 12 and Canelo Alvarez vs Christian Mbilli on October 31.
DAZN Ultimate costs £24.99 per month or £249.99 for a year upfront and includes 185 fight nights per year from promoters including Matchroom, Queensbury and Misfits. According to DAZN, this delivers savings of £320 per year compared with the cost of DAZN Monthly Flex and 12 individual PPV orders. The package also includes every Serie A fixture plus highlights from La Liga, Bundesliga and Saudi Pro League, though customers must commit to a 12-month subscription.
Alternatively, Amazon is providing a livestream on Prime Video's DAZN channel for £24.99. As DAZN holds the broadcast rights, the fight will not be shown on Sky Sports or TNT Sports.
The undercard includes Sam Noakes vs Denys Berinchyk (lightweight, 9.30pm), Nelson Hysa vs Thomas Narmo (heavyweight, 8.40pm), Christian Ursu vs Ben Vaughan (welterweight, for British and Commonwealth titles, 7.50pm) and Guido Vinnello vs Moses Jolly (heavyweight, 7.10pm).
