Lewis Hamilton reportedly sought a meeting with Ferrari team principal Frederic Vasseur after the Italian Grand Prix to discuss the team's internal rules of engagement, but the matter was not addressed before the Spanish Grand Prix weekend due to the short turnaround between races.
Hamilton and Leclerc clash at Monza
At Monza, Hamilton finished sixth while teammate Charles Leclerc crashed out early. Reports suggest Hamilton is at odds with the team over competitiveness between himself and Leclerc, prompting the request for a review.
Ferrari will be hoping for a stronger showing at the Madring in Madrid compared to last weekend's performance in Italy.
Audi push for Italian GP result change
Elsewhere, Audi are pushing for a change to the Italian GP result, unhappy that Yuki Tsunoda was not penalised for causing an extra formation lap. The Japanese driver almost lined up in the wrong grid box, prompting the race director to call for an additional lap.
The stewards explained that because the lap came as an assessment from the race director rather than being directly caused by Tsunoda, no penalty was necessary.
Spanish GP schedule
Practice sessions take place on Friday, with qualifying scheduled for Saturday. The race is set for 2pm on Sunday.
