Tommy Fury vs Eddie Hall Schedule Changed Last-Minute

A late change has been made to the Tommy Fury versus Eddie Hall fight card just days before the pair are set to meet in Manchester. Former Love Island star Fury is scheduled to take on former World's Strongest Man Hall on Saturday night, but organizers have been forced into a last-minute reshuffle following the withdrawal of social media personality BDave from his undercard bout against Swarmz.

BDave Withdraws Due to Injury

The entire card had been scheduled to participate in a public workout this week, but BDave was notably absent before later confirming he had suffered an injury. Explaining his withdrawal on social media, he stated: "About three days before I was supposed to fly down to Manchester I was making some dinner, in amazing shape and on weight. After nine weeks of two a days I fell down the stairs like a r***** and pinched a nerve in my back and bruised my ribs. I currently can't punch or move my head at all. Anything more than a normal walk is extremely painful. I was really looking forward to fighting Swarmz and worked so hard. I'm sorry to Swarmz and Misfits and anyone that was looking forward to this."

Swarmz Responds

Swarmz responded swiftly to the news and appeared unconvinced by the explanation. He said: "BDave ducked me. Everyone just saying I think he's really scared of black guys. I've been humble this whole time. The show will still go on." As a result, Swarmz will now take on Brazilian fighter Biel, who has stepped in at short notice. Reacting to the opportunity, Biel commented: "What a challenge! Happy to be representing my country as the only Brazilian on the card! God got us! LET'S GO!"

Main Event Remains Unchanged

Despite the undercard setback, the headline bout between Fury and Hall remains on course to go ahead. Hall was another fighter who opted not to train in front of fans at the public workout, although the former World's Strongest Man is still expected to face Fury this weekend. The 38-year-old recently admitted his fighting career is entering its final phase and believes he has less than two years left competing. "In just fights in general, I think I've got another two years in me," Hall told Betway's Playbook Boxing. "I'm 40 in two years. I think that's the age where any human being shouldn't be getting hit in the head after 40. That's my timeframe. And whether that gets filled with boxing, MMA, bare-knuckle, whatever. In essence, what I want to do is go out, put my name on the map, put a bit of money in the bank, and if I can finish on a bang, that would be a massive positive for me."
