The Southport Air Show will return over the August Bank Holiday weekend, with the Red Arrows performing at around 3.30pm on both days. The event takes place on Saturday, August 29 and Sunday, August 30, and the full display times have now been confirmed.
Saturday, August 29 display schedule
The Saturday schedule begins at 12.30pm with The Starlings, followed by Tutor at 12.47pm and Gazelle Squadron at 12.58pm. The Aerosuperbatics Wingwalkers take off at 1.16pm, with Rich Goodwin Jet Pitts at 1.34pm and Hawk T1 at 1.48pm.
There is a short break in the display at 1.56pm. The action resumes at 2.33pm with Strikemaster, followed by Otto at 2.44pm. The A-26 Invader and P-51 Mustang fly together at 2.55pm, with the P-51 Mustang solo at 3pm and the A-26 Invader at 3.10pm.
The Red Arrows perform at 3.30pm, with the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight closing the day at 4pm.
Sunday, August 30 display schedule
Sunday begins with the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at 12.30pm, followed by The Starlings at 12.51pm and Tutor at 1.08pm. Rich Goodwin Jet Pitts flies at 1.19pm, with the A-26 Invader and P-51 Mustang together at 1.33pm.
The P-51 Mustang solo follows at 1.38pm, with the A-26 Invader at 1.48pm. Otto performs at 1.59pm, followed by a short break in the display at 2.07pm.
The afternoon continues with Gazelle Squadron at 2.29pm, Hawk T1 at 2.46pm, and Aerosuperbatics Wingwalkers at 2.57pm. Strikemaster flies at 3.15pm, followed by the Red Arrows at 3.30pm. The Typhoon closes the show at 4pm.
