The Southport Air Show 2026 takes place this weekend, with aerial performances from The Starlings, Tutor, Gazelle Squadron, The Red Arrows and more. The event runs on Saturday and Sunday, August 29 and 30.
Red Arrows return after 2025 break
The world-famous Red Arrows are set to appear on both days this weekend, making a return to the event after taking a break in 2025.
Tickets are still available and cost £13 plus booking fee. Children under 16 years of age are free of charge. Tickets for groups of 10 and more are £12 per person. People can purchase tickets online via the Visit Southport website and on the day at the box office.
Family activities and military displays
There is set to be fun-filled activities for kids including bungee trampolines, bumper cars and classic games like Hook-a-Duck. Aviation fans can get up close to replica planes and have a go in flight simulators.
On the Marine Drive the Military Village will host equipment displays from the Armed Forces. There will also be members of the Royal Navy, British Army and the Royal Air Force on hand, as well as the local Air Cadets.
