The Premier Sports Cup quarter-final draw is set to take place after Rangers' last-16 tie with St Mirren at Ibrox. Celtic, Aberdeen, Kilmarnock and Ross County secured their places on Saturday, with Hearts and Hibs joining them after Sunday wins. Stenhousemuir are poised to cause a shock by eliminating Motherwell in extra time.
Saturday's results
Celtic thumped Dundee United 4-0 at Tannadice, with summer signing Camilo Duran among the scorers. Aberdeen avenged last weekend's Premiership defeat to Dundee by winning 3-0 at Pittodrie, thanks to a brace from captain Kevin Nisbet and a debut goal from Mitchy Ntelo.
Kilmarnock edged Ayr United 3-2 in an Ayrshire derby at Rugby Park, while Ross County won away at Dunfermline to seal their last-eight spot.
Sunday's ties and the draw
The remaining four places were decided on Sunday, with Hearts, Inverness, Hibs, Partick Thistle, Stenhousemuir, Motherwell, Rangers and cup holders St Mirren competing. The draw for the last eight will take place once Rangers' clash with St Mirren concludes.
Rangers raced into a 2-0 lead against St Mirren in the final tie of the weekend, with the draw to follow.
