Manchester City host Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League league phase at the Etihad Stadium, aiming to extend their 100 per cent record to nine matches. The match marks Pep Guardiola's return to the ground for the first time since leaving in May, a decision made to show solidarity with the Blues' ownership.
Guardiola returns and fans show support
This is City's first home match since the Premier League charges verdict and the reaction the team received at Anfield. Fans are expected to continue their show of support for the club from the stands. Guardiola will also be in the stands, with the two clubs' owners sharing a healthy respect for each other.
On the pitch, City are in fine form following a 3-0 win at Liverpool. Arguably, this is their toughest match this season, even if PSG have started their campaign slowly. A win tonight would see City move back into the top eight in the Champions League.
Match odds and how to watch
Bet365 provides odds of 19/20 for a City win, 3/1 for a draw and 23/10 for a PSG win. The match is available on TNT Sports 1 and Ultimate in the UK, and can be streamed on HBO Max.
PSG, the holders, have struggled in Ligue 1 so far this season, and a win over City would mark a significant scalp for them. For City, beating PSG would be a huge statement for the rest of Europe.
