Liverpool have confirmed another departure as the summer transfer window enters its final days. The market closes in England on Tuesday, September 1 at 11pm, after which the Reds must wait until January to continue reshaping the squad under head coach Andoni Iraola.
Forward targets and bids
Strengthening the forward options remains a priority. Liverpool have had two bids rejected by Brighton for Gambian right-winger Yankuba Minteh, with the Seagulls holding out for more than £70million. The club are also interested in Paris Saint-Germain's Bradley Barcola but have shown no indication they would meet the asking price, initially reported as at least £130m.
Cody Gakpo's future is uncertain, with Tottenham Hotspur continuing to court the Netherlands international. Loan moves could be in the offing for several Academy players.
