Lewis Capaldi will headline Live From Wythenshawe Park on Saturday night, performing to 35,000 people. The Scottish singer-songwriter, known for hits including 'Someone You Loved', 'Before You Go' and 'Hold Me While You Wait', will be supported by Quiet Man and Loyle Carner.
The show comes three years after Capaldi was forced to cancel his appearance at the venue, along with other tour dates, due to his mental and physical health. His break from music began in 2023 following an emotional performance at Glastonbury, where he struggled with his voice and experienced increased Tourette's syndrome tics.
Return to the stage
Capaldi returned to live performance in September 2025 with a sold-out UK arena tour, playing venues including The O2 Arena, Glasgow's Hydro and Manchester's Co-op Live Arena. This year he has played outdoor concerts in Dublin, Limerick, Cardiff, London and Liverpool, with a Belfast show on Thursday before heading to Manchester.
The Wythenshawe Park gig is the second in the Live From Wythenshawe Park series, now in its fourth year. Other acts on this year's bill include The Cure, Pulp, Courteeners and Prodigy, following previous performances from Noel Gallagher, New Order, Blossoms, Fontaines D.C. and Sam Fender.
Travel and entry rules
Organisers advise using public transport where possible, including the Metrolink, shuttle bus and local train services. Dedicated show parking can be purchased via the Live From Wythenshawe Park website while availability remains.
Admission is subject to search, and management reserves the right to refuse entry. A valid ID is required on entry, with accepted forms including an in-date passport, an in-date driving licence (provisional accepted) or an in-date citizen card.
Banned items and bag restrictions
A range of items are prohibited inside the venue, including balaclavas or masks, alcohol or liquids of any kind, aerosols, sprays or pressurised containers, drugs including 'legal highs', knives or weapons, perfumes or aftershaves, glass, umbrellas, food, dogs, flares or fireworks, camp chairs or stools, bikes, selfie-sticks, flag poles, rucksacks or large bags, and no re-entry.
Bags must be no larger than 21cm x 30cm x 8cm (A4 size). Water bottles are allowed if they are plastic, see-through and under 500ml. Sun cream in a small bottle in its original packaging is permitted. Organisers have confirmed that camping chairs, stools, picnic blankets or other seating are not allowed in the venue.
Anyone arriving with prohibited items will usually be able to dispose of them at the gate. Items left at the gate cannot be collected once the customer has left the gate area, and surrendered items may be disposed of immediately. The age restriction depends on the specific show, so attendees should check at the point of purchase or through their ticket outlet.
