Lytham will welcome a real ice rink this Christmas for the first time in a decade. Lytham on Ice is set to take over Clifton Square from Saturday 28 November to Sunday 3 January 2027, with the 60ft by 40ft attraction open daily from noon until 9pm on the Lancashire coastline, with longer opening hours at weekends.
Festive stalls and attractions
Visitors to Clifton Square will also be able to enjoy a range of stalls on site selling festive food and drink. Festivities are also set to come to Lytham Station and Sparrow Park, with a vibrant Christmas market and rides on offer throughout the five-week festival.
Lytham on Ice organiser Steffen Cubbins said: "I’m absolutely delighted to be able to announce that this Christmas Lytham will be welcoming a real ice rink for the first time in many years.
High demand expected
"The reaction from people since Fylde Council approved our festive plans has been amazing, and I anticipate that sessions will be hugely popular, particularly with families and among groups of friends."
"So, you might want to get your skates on and secure your slot as soon as possible, especially for weekend dates and around Christmas itself."
"In addition, Clifton Square will also be full of stalls offering plenty of seasonal treats. And there will be more chance to get into the festive spirit with the Christmas market and rides taking over the station and Sparrow Park."
"All together it means Lytham really is the place to be this festive season."
Tickets on sale
Timed tickets for a 45-minute skating session start from £7.99 upwards plus booking fee, and sessions are now on sale.
