Christian Horner issued a statement immediately after Max Verstappen's win at the Bahrain Grand Prix, which was held in Malaysia due to continued tensions in the Middle East. The Dutchman secured victory during a dominant weekend for Verstappen and Red Bull.
Verstappen's Comeback
Verstappen had taken his first pole of the season but came under immediate pressure from the Mercedes duo, who quickly took control of the race. Where previously this year Verstappen and his team might have wilted, this setback appeared to make them stronger, with the four-time world champion fighting back.
Horner's Social Media Message
After the win, Horner was quick to share his thoughts on the performance. Posting on social media, he remarked: "From a hole in the ground to a race victory in just five years. Huge congratulations to Red Bull Ford Powertrains, Max, and the entire team. An incredible achievement!"
