Glastonbury 2027 general sale tickets sell out in hours

Glastonbury Festival 2027 general admission tickets went on sale at 9am on Sunday morning, giving fans who missed the coach package sale another chance to secure their place at Worthy Farm.

The coach package tickets sold out within 30 minutes on Thursday evening, leaving many fans hoping for success in the general sale. The Somerset festival will return to Worthy Farm in Pilton on June 23, after taking a year out in 2026.

Tickets more than half sold by 9.30am

By 9.30am, half of the tickets had been sold. A message posted by Glastonbury at 9.26am said: "Over half the available ticklets have now been sold, the queue for remaining tickets is moving steadily."

Tickets cost £408, which includes a £5 booking fee per ticket, but buyers only needed to put down a £100 deposit at the time of purchase. The rest of the balance is paid during a week-long window in April.

Final chance in new year resale

Those who missed out for a second time have one final chance in the new year resale. The exact dates will likely be announced in April, once the balance payment window has closed.

Last year, Glastonbury organisers announced on April 10 that the coach ticket resale would take place on April 24, followed by the general ticket resale on April 27. The resale works in the same way as the main sale, with everyone having to register for tickets ahead of the sale.

The line-up for Glastonbury 2027 is yet to be announced, but there has been plenty of speculation already about who might be topping the bill. Last year saw the likes of Neil Young, Olivia Rodrigo and The 1975 headline the Pyramid Stage, while Sir Rod Stewart played in the coveted legends slot.
