Celtic travel to Tannadice to face Dundee United in the Premier Sports Cup last 16, with Martin O'Neill back in the dugout after his hospital stay last week. The Scottish champions are looking to win the one trophy they missed out on last season, having lost the final to St Mirren.
Team News
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is handed a rare start in midfield, while new signings Mika Baur and Haissem Hassan are named on the bench. Kieran Tierney also starts among the substitutes, with Colby Donovan and Liam Scales coming into the starting XI at full-back.
Dundee United, meanwhile, are without Will Ferry, who picked up a groin injury in training. Manager Jim Goodwin confirmed the full-back is also the subject of a new contract offer.
Pre-Match Quotes
O'Neill said he was looking forward to the match "immensely", adding: "We've got a score probably to settle against Dundee United, a way back - the last time we lost a game - it was here." He also praised the condition of the Tannadice pitch, which he said "looks fantastic".
Goodwin said of Ferry's absence: "Will Ferry picked up a little niggle in training yesterday so unfortunate to be without him. He just felt tightness in his groin."
