Birmingham City Football Club has electrified its fanbase by officially unveiling ambitious and architecturally daring plans for a brand new home ground.
The Championship side presented the designs on Thursday afternoon, 20 November 2025, at the Digbeth Loc. Studios, setting out a bold vision for the future of the club.
A Stadium Named 'The Powerhouse'
Dubbed 'The Powerhouse', the proposed stadium is designed to hold an impressive 62,000 spectators, a significant increase in capacity that aims to propel the club onto a larger stage.
One of the most striking design features revealed is the inclusion of 12 chimneys, a unique architectural choice that gives the venue its powerful identity and pays homage to the city's industrial heritage.
This new ground is set to become the centrepiece of a broader Sports Quarter development, signalling a major regeneration project for the area.

The project's announcement was amplified by a high-profile video featuring cameo appearances from some famous faces.
The video included minority investor and NFL legend Tom Brady, former Blues hero and global football star Jude Bellingham, and Paul Anderson, the actor known for his role in the hit series Peaky Blinders.
Club chairman Tom Wagner has set an ambitious target for the project, stating his desire for the stadium to be built by 2030.
