Valencia are one of three clubs interested in taking Harvey Elliott on loan from Liverpool this season, according to reports. The Spanish side have expressed an interest in securing the attacking midfielder on a temporary deal for the remainder of the campaign, with Serie A teams Napoli and Lazio also weighing up an official approach.
Elliott left out of Liverpool squad
Elliott was left out of the Liverpool squad for the season opener at Newcastle United last weekend. Head coach Andoni Iraola explained he preferred other options on the bench.
The 23-year-old now appears increasingly likely to spend the term away from Anfield for the second successive year. He endured a difficult loan spell at Aston Villa last campaign.

Elliott moved to Villa in a deal that saw the Midlands side obliged to make the switch permanent for £35million should the player feature in a certain number of matches. From early on, however, it became clear Villa boss Unai Emery did not want to keep the former England under-21 international.
Having played for Liverpool in the opening weeks of the season, Elliott was unable to move to another club despite being largely sidelined. That option remains open this season, with Elliott missing out for Liverpool last weekend and expected to once again not make the matchday squad for Saturday's visit of Nottingham Forest.
