Tyrique George has promised “there is a lot more to come from me” after joining Everton from Chelsea on a permanent deal. The 20-year-old winger has signed a four-year contract in a deal worth an initial £18million with £6m of add-ons.
He spent the second half of last season on loan with the Toffees, making 11 Premier League appearances, only one of which was a start.
George’s Ambition and Commitment
“There is a lot more to come from me and with the manager, the coaches and my team-mates, I know I’m in a great place to show it,” said George. “Everton is an environment that demands hard work from everyone, and I will give everything. To be in for the start of pre-season is something I was keen on.”
Everton’s Summer Transfers
George is manager David Moyes’ third signing of the summer after Merlin Rohl made his loan deal permanent and fellow midfielder Hayden Hackney completed a £16m move from Middlesbrough.
