Tottenham have completed the signing of goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario on a season-long loan from Juventus, with an option to make the deal permanent next summer.
Move to North London
The 27-year-old Italy international moves to north London after two seasons with the Serie A club, where he made 45 appearances in all competitions.
Vicario is expected to provide competition for current number one Fraser Forster, with the club also having Brandon Austin as a homegrown option.
Career background
He began his career with Udinese before moving to Juventus in 2024, and has also spent time on loan at Cagliari and Empoli earlier in his career.
Vicario has won two caps for Italy, making his debut in a friendly against Ecuador in March 2024.
Contract details
The deal includes an option for Tottenham to sign him permanently, with reports suggesting a fee in the region of £20m.
Vicario will wear the number 13 shirt at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
