Swansea City winger Zeidane Inoussa is set to join Championship rivals Portsmouth on a season-long loan.
The 24-year-old has fallen out of favour recently and has not made a single first-team appearance this season. His chances have been hampered by the recent arrivals of Moussa Yeo and Joseph Opoku, while the club are also close to tying up a deal for Manchester City youngster Jeremy Monga before the close of the window.
Move to Fratton Park
Inoussa joined Swansea from Swedish club BK Hacken for a significant fee last summer, signing a contract to keep him at the club until 2030. However, his first season in English football was largely curtailed by injury, and he scored just once in 29 appearances.
He is now set to spend the rest of the season at Fratton Park, following on from fellow winger Florian Bianchini, who spent last season on loan at the south coast club. That spell did not work out, with Bianchini making just 10 appearances for the club.
Further exits on the cards
Like Inoussa, Bianchini also does not appear to be in Swansea's first-team plans this season under Vitor Matos. The Swans will subsequently listen to offers for the Frenchman, but it remains to be seen if they can find a suitor before the close of the window.
Ronald is another player who has been linked with a move away over the last few weeks, as has star striker Zan Vipotnik, who has attracted a fair amount of attention after winning the Championship's Golden Boot last season. As things stand, however, the Slovenian is likely to remain a Swansea player beyond tonight's 11pm deadline.
