Rangers have made contact with PSV over forward Couhaib Driouech, according to a report, with a bid expected to be lodged soon.
Manager seeks attacking reinforcements
Derek McInnes is looking to bolster his attacking options after his side was held to a 1-1 draw by Dundee United on the opening night of the Premiership season.
Japanese winger Daisuke Yokota has already arrived from Hannover on a three-year deal, while both Rangers and Celtic are trying to tempt Frosinone into selling Fares Ghdjemis.
Driouech's record at PSV
The Moroccan U23 international has spent the last two years with PSV, scoring 12 times in 61 outings. PSV are seemingly keen to move him on, although other Dutch outlets claim they are looking for double the €3.5million fee they paid Excelsior in 2024.
RB Salzburg had been credited with an interest, but the latest understanding is that Rangers' interest is the most concrete, despite previous links with NEC, Celta Vigo and Genoa.
