Mikey Moore admits he loved his time at Rangers but is determined to show what he can do at Tottenham. The teenage sensation, 18, sparked on a season-long loan at Ibrox and became a huge fans' favourite, notching seven goals and four assists.
Gers supporters have been clamouring for Derek McInnes to re-sign the talented youngster for another year, with the club in the market for more wide players. But Moore appears to have his sights set on making the breakthrough at Spurs after being given 45 minutes to catch the eye of new boss Roberto De Zerbi in yesterday's 1-0 pre-season win over MK Dons.
Moore's determination to impress at Spurs
He said: "Yeah, buzzing to be back. It was good to get a run out. I think the boys did all right. It was good to get going again and be back in a Tottenham shirt."
"I think I've tried my best to come back in the best possible way I can to make a good account of myself. So now it's just about trying to show that. It was a good first 45 minutes but obviously try and get some minutes again, but now I need to show what I can do."
The PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year revealed he's spent the close season bulking up as he looks to prove himself in England's top-flight. He said: "Yeah, 100 per cent. To compete in the Premier League where I want to play football, you need to be physically as good as all the other boys in the league because it's such a physically demanding league. It's something I had to work hard on over the summer. I'm feeling good in myself and need to show technically as well that I'm at a good level."
Moore's love for Rangers
Moore says he fell in love with Rangers during his season-long stint and returns to North London brimming with confidence. He said: "Rangers is a huge club. I absolutely loved every second of my time there. I think I've come back a better player and a better person with the experiences I had. I need to try and bring that here because it's another massive club. Throughout the pre-season, whatever chance I get, I just want to show that I've come back a better player and physically a better person."
While a return to Rangers for Moore seems to be a long shot, the Light Blues are set to step up their interest in Brighton winger Amario Cozier-Duberry. Former Arsenal youth star Cozier-Duberry, 21, is at the centre of a huge transfer battle with West Ham, Hull City, Paris FC and RB Salzburg all battling it out for his signature.

It's believed Belgian giants Anderlecht have already had a £5million bid turfed out. Brighton are keen to keep the wide-man who sparkled on loan at Bolton last season by bagging nine goals and providing 13 assists to help secure Championship promotion. But the Sun reports that McInnes is ready to formalise his interest in the England Under-20 international as the Ibrox boss targets three new signings before next week's Premiership curtain-raiser at Tannadice.
