Casemiro Backs Tchouameni, Camavinga and Valverde as Man Utd Replacements

Casemiro has endorsed three Real Madrid stars as potential successors at Manchester United, as the Brazilian prepares to leave Old Trafford after the season finale against Brighton. The 34-year-old, who joined United in 2022 after a trophy-laden spell at Madrid, has previously praised Aurelien Tchouameni, Eduardo Camavinga and Federico Valverde as capable of filling his role in midfield.

All three players have been linked with moves to United this summer. Valverde is reportedly unsettled at Madrid following a training-ground confrontation with Tchouameni, and club officials are said to be considering his sale. However, no firm links with United have emerged, and his contract until 2029 could command a high fee.

Camavinga and Tchouameni are also potential targets, with Madrid open to offers for the former after reduced playing time. Tchouameni's availability may depend on Madrid's pursuit of Manchester City's Rodri, who has a year left on his contract and has hinted at a possible move to Spain. Should Rodri join Madrid, it could pave the way for United to sign Tchouameni.

Casemiro has previously expressed confidence in the trio, stating after leaving Madrid: 'Real Madrid always signs the best players. Fede can do this job... Camavinga showed us he can be a fantastic player. Tchouameni is a starter for the French national team.' However, any deal would be costly, with the three players valued at a combined £212m by Transfermarkt.
