Man Utd Eye Bournemouth Stars and Manager Iraola for Transfers

Manchester United are monitoring Bournemouth striker Eli Junior Kroupi and defender Marcos Senesi ahead of the summer transfer window, while also considering Cherries manager Andoni Iraola as a potential permanent boss.

Kroupi, 19, has impressed in his debut Premier League season, scoring 10 goals including strikes in both league meetings with United. Chelsea and Liverpool are also tracking the forward, who joined Bournemouth in February 2024.

Senesi, 28, is out of contract and expected to leave on a free transfer. The Argentine centre-back has attracted interest from Chelsea and Tottenham as well as United, having been one of Bournemouth's standout performers this term.

Iraola, who will leave Bournemouth at the end of the 2025-26 season, is admired by Old Trafford officials. However, interim boss Michael Carrick remains a contender if he secures Champions League qualification, while Julian Nagelsmann and Oliver Glasner are also linked.

United plan to strengthen in central midfield and at left-sided attack this summer, with a squad rebuild prioritised regardless of the next manager's identity.
