Omar Marmoush has joined Tottenham on loan from Manchester City, with an obligation to buy the Egypt forward for £60m next summer included in the deal.
Summer of change at the Etihad
Marmoush becomes the latest player to leave the Etihad in what has been a summer of change under new head coach Enzo Maresca. Tijjani Reijnders, James Trafford, Rodri and Savinho have already been sold this summer, and that's without mentioning Bernardo Silva and John Stones, whose contracts expired at the end of last season.
Further sales are expected in the coming days, with Newcastle understood to be edging closer to sealing a deal for Nico Gonzalez.
New arrivals expected
It's set to be a busy final week of the transfer window for City with numerous new faces expected to arrive at the Etihad. A deal has been struck with Lille for Ayyoub Bouaddi and his signing is expected to be officially confirmed in the coming days, while Palmeiras star Allan is also on his way to the club.
City remain keen on Enzo Fernandez, but as of yet a breakthrough has not been reached in negotiations with Chelsea. Liverpool forward Cody Gakpo has also been linked with a move to Manchester in recent days.
