Liverpool have been encouraged to bring Harry Wilson back to the club on a free transfer, four years after he was sold to Fulham by Jurgen Klopp. The 29-year-old Wales international is set to become a free agent at the end of the month, following an impressive 2025-26 campaign in which he scored 10 goals and provided seven assists in 37 Premier League matches.
Wilson came through Liverpool's academy and spent time on loan at several clubs before joining Fulham permanently in 2022. He made only two first-team appearances for the Reds. With Liverpool searching for a right-sided forward to replace Mohamed Salah, former Liverpool midfielder Gary McAllister believes Wilson would be a valuable addition.
McAllister told Grosvenor Casino: 'He's a really interesting one. He's been coached in the Liverpool way, and he always caught the eye when you were around Anfield. With his passing range, his ability to get a goal, and his work rate, he's becoming a very complete player.'
However, there is no indication that Liverpool are considering a move for Wilson. Instead, he has been linked with Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa. Spurs are looking to reshape their squad after a poor campaign and have already submitted a bid for Brighton's Jan Paul Van Hecke, while also agreeing deals for Andy Robertson and Marcos Senesi.
