Liverpool are reportedly among four Premier League clubs interested in Chelsea winger Pedro Neto, while a potential deal for Paris Saint-Germain's Bradley Barcola could be boosted by PSG's pursuit of other targets. Meanwhile, Inter Milan may be prepared to wait for Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones on a free transfer next summer.
Neto linked with Liverpool and three other clubs
Pedro Neto, who joined Chelsea from Wolves in 2024, has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge. The Athletic's DealSheet reported on Tuesday that Neto is "the subject of interest from four Premier League clubs," with journalist Simon Johnson stating "it will take a very large bid to prise the Portugal international away from Stamford Bridge."
Chelsea fan YouTube channel Si Phillips Talks Chelsea claimed on Monday that Neto has interest from Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool, Manchester City, and Arsenal. Phillips said: "[Neto] has got a lot of clubs interested in him and, again, he's not a player who's looking to leave necessarily, but he's certainly been open to the interest coming in for him and seeing what offers he gets. Chelsea would sell him if the money's right - I believe similar sort of money that they are asking for Malo Gusto, which is reportedly around £70-75m."
PSG deals could ease Barcola price
Bradley Barcola has reportedly agreed on a five-year contract with Liverpool, according to Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri, who said the deal is linked to PSG's pursuit of Mika Godts. Fabrizio Romano claimed Barcola has given Liverpool the "final green light" on personal terms, but noted that PSG's demands could soften if they finalise deals for Godts and Ferran Torres.
Romano said in a video: "For Bradley Barcola to join Liverpool, one factor is really important: the financial factor between clubs. Because the player is keen on a move to Liverpool. Barcola wants to go to Liverpool, so on this there is no doubt. But the crucial point is if Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain can get closer on the transfer fee value. At the moment, there is still distance between Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool on the transfer fee. But if Paris Saint-Germain sign - after Ferran Torres, after Akliouche - also Mika Godts, obviously, this could change the scenario and could make it eventually more open for Liverpool to try to reach a financial agreement with Paris Saint-Germain."
Inter may wait for Jones
Inter Milan have been linked with Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones, but have been reluctant to meet Liverpool's valuation of around €40m (£34.2m). With Jones out of contract next summer, Inter could wait until January to negotiate a free transfer, according to Corriere dello Sport. Inter are also in talks with Tottenham for Djed Spence, which could affect their financial flexibility.
Other reports include Alexis Mac Allister being "not likely to move" this summer, and Federico Chiesa "continues to weigh up alternatives to staying at Anfield." Tottenham have held talks with Cody Gakpo's representatives but have not made contact with Liverpool, and Micky van de Ven has signed a new contract at Spurs. Several young Liverpool players could leave on loan, including Calum Scanlon, Luke Chambers, James McConnell, and Lewis Koumas.
