Liverpool are reportedly accelerating their pursuit of Crystal Palace winger Ismaila Sarr after having a £50million bid rejected earlier this week.
The 28-year-old has given the green light to the move after approaches from Galatasaray and Al-Ittihad were turned down. Liverpool are attempting to bring in Sarr in addition to Bradley Barcola before the transfer deadline closes.
Player agrees to Liverpool move
Sarr has reportedly agreed to join Liverpool, clearing a major hurdle in negotiations. The Senegal international has been a key target for the Reds as they look to strengthen their attacking options before the window shuts.
Crystal Palace rejected the initial £50m offer but talks are understood to be ongoing, with Liverpool now moving quickly to secure a deal.
Competition for Sarr's signature
The winger had attracted interest from Turkish club Galatasaray and Saudi side Al-Ittihad, but those approaches were turned down. Sarr's preference for a move to Anfield has given Liverpool the crucial advantage in the race for his signature.
