Juventus are reportedly considering a summer move for Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker, with the Italian giants seeking a new number one. The 33-year-old Brazilian has been a key figure for the Reds since his £67 million move from AS Roma in 2018, but his contract at Anfield expires at the end of the 2025-26 season, sparking interest from Serie A.
According to Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus have turned their attention to the Premier League in their search for a goalkeeper, with Alisson and Tottenham's Guglielmo Vicario on their radar. Liverpool hold an option to extend Alisson's contract by a further year, meaning a free transfer is unlikely if the club exercises that clause.
Liverpool have already planned for the future by signing Giorgi Mamardashvili, who is widely regarded as Alisson's long-term successor. The Georgia international has impressed during his time at Valencia, though he currently remains behind Alisson in the pecking order at Anfield.
Alisson has hinted that he expects Liverpool to trigger the extension, but has also expressed a desire to return to his boyhood club Internacional in Brazil one day. Speaking last season, he said: 'I've never been able to plan long term. Obviously now I have one year left on my contract and another year of club option, which they will probably exercise.' He added: 'I want to return, especially to Inter. I don't know when it will happen, but I still want to do it at a high level.'
