Tottenham head coach Roberto De Zerbi says the club are aiming to sign “one more player” before the transfer deadline, with the club interested in Liverpool forward Cody Gakpo.
Gakpo interest intensifies
Spurs are understood to be keen on the Dutch international and are expected to step up their attempts to sign him in the final days of the window.
Speaking to reporters on Friday, De Zerbi said: “I didn't expect a transfer window like we have done.”

He added: “I think we can do one player more in one specific position. Yesterday we went to dinner with the owners, Johan [Lange, sporting director] and Vinai [Venkatesham, chief executive] and we spoke about this. All of us are on the same page and a very good connection.”
