Arsenal Eye Piero Hincapie as Kiwior Exit Talks Continue

Arsenal are preparing a late bid for Bayer Leverkusen defender Piero Hincapie, with the Ecuador international reportedly available for £55m. Some outlets suggested the move would hijack Tottenham's interest, but Spurs have denied making contact with Leverkusen over the 23-year-old.

Leverkusen have lost several senior stars since Xabi Alonso left as manager, with Erik ten Hag now in charge. Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpong, Granit Xhaka and Amine Adli have all moved to the Premier League this summer.

Meanwhile, Arsenal and Porto are set for fresh talks over Jakub Kiwior, according to reports in Portugal. Porto are expected to propose a loan with an obligation to buy at the end of the season, but Crystal Palace and Serie A clubs are also interested.

Arsenal academy product Isaac Hayden has completed a permanent free transfer to Queens Park Rangers. The 30-year-old, who played twice for the Gunners under Arsene Wenger, had spent the last nine years at Newcastle and previously spent a season on loan at QPR.
