Liverpool are reportedly stepping up their interest in Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak ahead of the summer transfer window. The Sweden international has been frequently linked with a move to Anfield, and reports suggest that the Reds' pursuit is gaining traction.
According to reports, Newcastle are determined to keep Isak at St James' Park despite interest from other clubs. A potential price tag of £120 million has been mentioned, which could deter suitors. Arsenal and Barcelona have also been credited with an interest in the forward in recent weeks.
Meanwhile, Liverpool are also being linked with a move for Udinese striker Lorenzo Lucca. The 24-year-old has scored 12 goals in all competitions this season and is valued at around €35 million (£29 million), including add-ons. However, the Reds will face competition from Arsenal, Nottingham Forest and Atletico Madrid for his signature.
